Hello. My name is Heather Kelly. I am fascinated with the intersection of where meaningfulness and productivity meet, and I'm endlessly curious about how people organize themselves and approach each day.
Here, with Wide Open Day interviews and articles, I try to provide inspiration, examples, reassurance, as well as practical tools and techniques to help you make the most of your day. By living as productively, creatively, and purposefully as we can.
This site was started before Covid19 changed the world - and how we live in each day. This massive shift of our time-work-rest-energy flow is making Wide Open Day's questions more relevant, and each different person's answers about their personal approach to each day even more helpful for all of us, than I could have imagined.
Wide Open Day evolved from an earlier project called Noteabler, where I now sell 'Get Shit Done" notebooks, "Best Self" journals, as well as "Goals" and "Progress" journals - you can check it out here.
WOD is created in the same spirit as the final lines in Mary Oliver's poem The Summer Day:
" Tell me, what is it you plan to do / With your one wild and precious life? "
Thank you so much for being here.
